Karla Guzmán Wong, is a visual artist born in the city of Minatitlán, Veracruz, of Oaxacan parents from the Isthmus of Tehuantepec region and is a graduate of the Benito Juárez Autonomous University of Oaxaca with a degree in Law and Social Sciences.

Karla Guzmán Wong has a diploma in History of Mexican Art taught by the Autonomous University of Guadalajara and taken in the City of Melrose Park, Illinois. In addition she has worked for the Prosecutor's Office as an expert in Spoken Portrait and forensic identification since 2001 for the state of Oaxaca.

-Karla Wong exhibited for the first time at the Municipal Palace of the city of Oaxaca in 2014.

-In Oaxaca she has exhibited at the House of Culture of Oaxaca in the Rufino Tamayo room, at the Government Palace, at CANACO, at the University of the isthmus, at the Municipal Palace, at houses of culture in Juchitán, Tlaxiaco, Ixtepec , etc.

-In the USA she has exhibited in Los Angeles at Placita Olvera, at the Museo de Arte Latino de Pomona California serving as organizer and curator of works by artists from Oaxaca on several occasions internationally.
